Mission Statement
At Authentic Connections Counseling LLC, our mission is to provide holistic therapy and trauma-attuned psychotherapy for deep-feeling, neurodivergent teens and adults who are ready to heal from the inside out. We exist to create a compassionate, shame-sensitive space where sensitivity is a strength, nervous system needs are honored, and healing is approached with authenticity, humor, and heart.
Guided by a nervous-system-informed, shame-aware lens, we help clients move from dysregulation, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm — into connection, confidence, and internal safety. Through evidence-based, relational, and embodied therapy, we support cycle-breakers in reconnecting with their worth, regulating their reactions, and living anchored, aligned, and fully expressed lives.
Our Vision
We envision a world where sensitive, neurodivergent, and trauma-impacted individuals feel safe in their own bodies, confident in their worth, and empowered to live authentic, connected, cycle-breaking lives. Through holistic, nervous-system-informed psychotherapy, we aim to shift the narrative around mental health from one of shame and symptom management — to one of embodied healing, self-compassion, and anchored wholeness.
Hi, I’m Cammie…
a licensed psychotherapist, ADHD specialist, and highly sensitive human who built this practice for people who feel things deeply.
I created Authentic Connections Counseling LLC because I kept meeting teens and adults who were smart, insightful, and trying so hard — but still struggling under the weight of shame, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and the belief that something was “wrong” with them.
They didn’t need surface-level coping skills…
They needed a space that felt human, holistic, and truly healing — where their sensitivity was a strength, their patterns made sense, and therapy actually led to change that lasts.
