Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider, which allows us to offer personalized, high-quality care without the limitations that often come with insurance (such as session caps, mandatory diagnoses, or restricted treatment approaches). While we don’t bill insurance directly, many clients receive partial reimbursement by submitting the “superbills” we provide. We’re happy to guide you through that process if you’d like to use your out-of-network benefits.
How do superbills work?
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes everything your insurance company needs to process out-of-network claims (diagnosis code, dates of service, fee, etc.). After you pay for your session, we’ll generate a superbill you can download and submit directly to your insurance provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company may reimburse you a percentage of the session cost — typically by mailing you a check. We’re happy to help walk you through the process if it’s new to you!
Can I schedule a consultation before making an appointment?
Yes — we offer free 15-minute phone or video consultations so you can ask questions, share what you're looking for, and get a feel for whether our services are a good fit before committing to a session.
How do I know if you’re the right fit?
The best therapy happens when you feel safe, understood, and aligned with your therapist’s style. We encourage you to read through our specialties, explore our therapist bios, and schedule a consultation — trust your gut! If for any reason it doesn’t feel like the right match, we’re happy to offer referrals to other providers.
What is the cost?
Our session fees range from $165–$200 depending on the clinician and service type. Sliding-scale spots are occasionally available. We’ll discuss fees openly during your consultation so you have a clear understanding of investment and options before beginning.
